The aim of this paper is to identify the patterns of social behavior that existed in different civilizations that took place. The study will include early western civilizations as well as some modern day ones. The civilizations included in this paper are the Greek, Roman, French and Russian. The time periods that will be focused on are around the time of the great revolutions in each country. The aim is to see if there are any patterns in the social behavior of people during these times of upheaval.

Eliot also wrote prose and was very interested in philosophy. John Lennon, from the Beatles, was also inspired by him.
The next civilization is Rome. This was a time of great political upheaval. The main event that happened during this period was the French Revolution. This was led by people such as Charles DeGaulle and Maximilien Robespierre. It resulted in the overthrow of the monarchy and the establishment of a republic. This period also saw the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte who became one of the most famous generals in history.
The last civilization that will be looked at is Russia. This was a time of great change. The main event that happened during this period was World War One. This led to the overthrow of the Tsar and the establishment of Communism in Russia. This period also saw the rise of Lenin and Trotsky who were key figures in the Russian Revolution.
