The Mental Health Worker’s View of Social Problems in New York City

In this paper, I am going to present an ethnographic interview of a Costa Rican person. The interviewed person is a Costa Rican female, a mental health worker in New York City. The interviewed person does not speak Spanish, and her job is close to social work considering her salary. Her views on social problems are mainly negative, and she thinks that the main problem in New York City is the high cost of living. She also believes that the cultural background of Costa Ricans is very different from that of other Hispanic groups in the United States.
