My Best Friend: My Pit Bull Dog Tiger
1. Introduction
They say that a dog is man’s best friend. While I can’t this statement is true for everyone, I have no doubts that it holds true to me and my 5 year old pit bull Tiger.
I got Tiger when he was just a puppy and he has been by my side ever since. He is loyal and protective, always ready to defend me if he thinks I am in danger. He is also kind and loving, always there to give me a cuddle when I need it.
Tiger is a big dog, brown with thickly muscled frame and agile movements. He can be scary looking to some people, but I know that he would never hurt anyone unless they were trying to hurt me.
Recently, Tiger and I had an adventure that I will never forget. It was late at night and I was walking home from work when I was grabbed from behind by a couple of lanky men. They put a sharp dagger to my throat and told me to come with them quietly if I wanted to live.
I was terrified, but Tiger was not having any of it. He started growling and barking aggressively, distracting the men long enough for me to break free from their grip. I untied the ropes that they were using to bind me and ran away as fast as I could.
I looked back to see Tiger still standing there, barking furiously at the men as they ran away in the opposite direction. I was so relieved that he was okay and that we were both safe.
This experience just goes to show how loyal and protective Tiger is. I am so grateful to have him in my life, and I know that we will continue to have many more adventures together.
